Dr. Lara Davis has a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sports Sciences from Texas Tech and a Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree from Texas Women’s University. She is also currently working toward her PhD in Physical Therapy.
Dr. Davis aspires to one day be a graduate professor at a Doctor of Physical Therapy program. She has been a teaching assistant for the anatomy lab at Texas Women’s University, Dallas campus.
Dr. Davis is certified in Dry Needling level 1 for manual therapy.
Dr. Davis specialties include working with concussion, traumatic brain injury, stroke, and other neurologic issues. She also has experience treating patients with headaches, dizziness, and other chronic pain. She uses evidence-based physical therapy techniques to improve the function and quality of life of each of her patients.
Patience, honesty, and integrity are some of the core values that Dr. Davis holds. She believes that every patient has the power to change their own lives and heal themselves with the guidance and encouragement provided by the clinical team.
